We read everything. Corrections come first — wrong information about the test is the worst thing we could publish.

Reaching the editorial team

You can reach us at [email protected]. It is the same address for everything — corrections, tips, press and partnerships. Write in Swedish or English if you can; we read other languages too, but reply more slowly.

We are a small team and do not answer around the clock. Allow a few working days for ordinary enquiries. Corrections are handled faster than that.

Corrections come first

If we have written something wrong, we want to know at once. Corrections take priority over all other editorial work — over new articles, over development, and over replies to other mail. A wrong detail about citizenship can cost someone both time and a fee, and we take that seriously.

  • Say which page it concerns — paste the address
  • Quote the sentence or passage that is wrong
  • Describe what is wrong and, if you know, what is correct
  • Link to the source at Migrationsverket, UHR or another authority if you have one

If the report holds up, we correct the text and update the verification date. Where it is more than a detail, we also note what changed, so that anyone who read the old version can see it.

Questions we cannot answer

We cannot answer questions about individual citizenship cases. We cannot see your application, we do not know where it stands in the queue, and we cannot judge whether you meet the requirements. Those questions belong with Migrationsverket, the agency that decides.

Questions about the test itself — registration, sittings, format, results and any adjustments — belong with UHR, which administers it. We cannot act on your behalf there either.

We do not give legal advice and do not represent anyone in a case. If you need that, contact a legal representative.

Press and partnerships

Journalists wanting a comment on the citizenship test, the change in the law, or how this information reaches new arrivals are welcome to get in touch. Put your deadline in the subject line so we can prioritise properly.

We are glad to work with adult education associations, SFI teachers, libraries and organisations who meet prospective applicants. Our material may be used in teaching; write to us and we will explain the terms. We do not, however, accept paid posts, guest articles carrying links, or anything else that would obscure who wrote the text.

Practise anywhere
